Apple held their Annual “Special Event” last night (10/9/2019) at Steve Jobs Theatre within their Stunning Apple Park HQ.

So here goes….

iPhone 11 Pro & iPhone 11 ProMax

So Apple introduced 2  new High End iPhones to replace the XS & the XS Max. It’s a very incremental change with a few standout features.

We now have a textured glass back which should help less drops with a 3 camera set up, no iPhone text & the Apple logo completely centred on the back same side buttons, same notch, same speakers, same.

Design changes done now onto the Cameras. You now have Three 12 Mega Pixel cameras on the back with an Ultra wide lens added to last years telephone & standard lens. Each one can record 4K  Video at 60FPS & has a new “Night Mode” setting.

The Motherboard has a new A13 Bionic chip which Apple claim is “Most powerful CPU & GPU in any Smartphone”

The front Facing Camera is now also slightly wider & also 12 Mega Pixel. Face ID should unlock 40% faster also.

Battery life should be greater by 4 & 5 hours respectively over XS & XSMAX predecessors.

Finally the Displays are now 1200 Nits of Brightness but 15% more energy efficient so Apple are now calling them “Super Retina XDR OLED”

The iPhone 11Pro & 11ProMax are available to Preorder on Friday September 13th at Midday. Come in Space Grey, Midnight Grey, Silver & Gold and start from £1049 & £1149 respectively & will be available for purchase from 20th September.

Apple Watch 5 Always on

Now on the 6th Version of the Apple Watch we now have an Always on Display. So What else is new.

Not a vast amount.

Stand out feature is the always on display, which allows you to see the Watch Face without having to Move your wrist to your face.

Despite this it still has the same fantastic 18 Hour battery life. Other new features are built in compass & emergency calling for international countries.

Apple Watch Series 5 is available today to order & starts from £399.

iPhone 11

So Apple didn’t just release 2 iPhones. They replaced the iPhoneXR last years most popular iPhone

The iPhone XR was the Cheapest iPhone you could get without a Home Button & the iPhone 11 is no different.

But it gets a massive specification & feature bump.

The screen is still a 720P LCD display with same brightness & colours. However the back of the phone is where all of the action happens.

You now have a Dual camera set up with a slightly tweaked Wide Lens carried over & a new Ultra Wide lens added. It can do all the fancy things the Pro device can do just without the telephoto lens. Still has NightMode, still shoots 4K video.

Comes in 6 Colours with a Glossy Back.  Product Red, Black, White, Yellow, Green, Purple. Its available for Preorder on the 13th & Available to buy on the 20th. Starting at £729.

New Budget iPad

Want an iPad but don’t have more than £400. Well you have two choices, either buy one of our Refurbished Units or Apple Have got an iPad for You.

Slightly larger than last years 9.7 inch one it brings it back inline sizing with the iPad Air 3. But significantly cheaper.
